  • 1 cup red cabbage finely shredded
  • 1 cup green cabbage finely shredded
  • 1-2 carrots julienned
  • 3-4 radishes thinly sliced
  • 1 handful cilantro chopped

Dressing Elements

  • 2 limes juiced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 dash black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp cumin optional
  • 1/4 tsp chili powder optional
  • 2 tbsp Greek yogurt for a creamier slaw, optional

  • 1 tsp lime zest optional

Instructions
 

  • Finely shred the red and green cabbage, julienne the carrots, and thinly slice the radishes.
  • Chop a generous handful of fresh cilantro.
  • In a large bowl, mix the lime juice, olive oil, salt, black pepper, cumin, and chili powder.
  • If a creamier slaw is desired, stir in Greek yogurt.
  • Add the shredded vegetables to the dressing and toss gently to coat evenly.
  • Let the slaw rest for 10-15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  • Before serving, adjust seasoning as needed and garnish with lime zest and hot sauce if desired.

Notes

For optimal crunch, prepare the slaw shortly before serving. If making ahead, add delicate herbs and garnishes just before serving.
