Ingredients
  

Brownie Layer

  • 200 g dark chocolate chopped
  • 100 g butter melted
  • 150 g sugar
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 100 g flour sifted

Cookie Layer

  • 100 g butter softened
  • 50 g brown sugar
  • 50 g white sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 120 g flour sifted
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 100 g chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and line a baking pan.
  • Prepare the brownie batter: Melt chocolate and butter together, then mix in sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Fold in flour.
  • Prepare the cookie dough: Cream butter and sugars, then add the egg and vanilla. Fold in flour, baking soda, and chocolate chips.
  • Pour the brownie batter into the baking pan. Drop spoonfuls of cookie dough on top.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  • Let cool before slicing and serving.

Notes

For a chewier texture, slightly underbake the brownie layer.
