Instructions
Preheat your waffle iron according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Lightly grease with non-stick spray or melted butter.
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
In a separate bowl, mix milk, vegetable oil, eggs, vanilla, and almond extract until well combined.
Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined. Let the batter rest for 5–10 minutes.
Gently fold in the blueberries using a spatula.
Pour about 2/3 cup of batter onto the preheated waffle iron. Close and cook for 4–5 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
Carefully remove waffles and serve immediately with syrup, powdered sugar, or fresh blueberries.
Notes
For best results, do not overmix the batter. You can store leftover waffles in the freezer and reheat in a toaster or oven.
