Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 to 1.5 pounds cooked lobster meat chopped
  • 12 oz elbow macaroni or preferred short pasta

Cheese Sauce

  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 3 cups cheese blend sharp cheddar, Gruyère, and Parmesan, grated
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste
  • paprika to taste
  • cayenne pepper a pinch
  • white wine optional, for extra flavor

Topping & Garnish

  • breadcrumbs for topping
  • Parmesan cheese extra, for topping
  • chopped parsley or chives for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F.
  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Cook pasta until just al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining.
  • In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add flour and stir continuously for 2 minutes to create a roux.
  • Slowly pour in milk and heavy cream while whisking to avoid lumps. Add optional white wine.
  • When mixture gently bubbles, reduce heat and add cheeses. Stir until smooth. Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and cayenne.
  • Gently fold lobster into the cheese sauce, ensuring even distribution.
  • Mix cheese sauce with cooked pasta and transfer to a greased baking dish.
  • Sprinkle breadcrumbs and extra Parmesan on top.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden and bubbling.
  • Garnish with parsley or chives. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Feel free to experiment with different cheeses or add extra spices for a unique twist!
