Instructions
In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat and stir in taco seasoning. Set aside.
Warm the refried beans slightly for easier spreading, then spread evenly in the bottom of a serving dish.
Spread a layer of sour cream over the refried beans.
Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the sour cream.
Evenly distribute the seasoned ground beef over the cheese layer.
Add a layer of diced tomatoes, onions, and jalapeños for freshness and a slight kick.
Top with shredded lettuce and avocado slices.
Garnish with fresh cilantro and a squeeze of lime juice for extra zest.
Serve immediately with tortilla chips or cover and refrigerate for later use.
Notes
For a spicier dip, add extra jalapeños or a dash of hot sauce. Serve with tortilla chips or fresh-cut vegetables for dipping.
