Ingredients
  

Fresh Peaches

  • 1 cup chopped peaches peeled if desired

Milk and Dairy Alternatives

  • 1/2 cup milk or dairy alternative
  • 2 scoops vanilla ice cream

Complementary Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp sweetener honey, sugar, or agave nectar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract optional
  • 1 dash cinnamon optional
  • 1 cup crushed ice

Instructions
 

  • Wash the peaches thoroughly. Optionally peel for a smoother texture.
  • Remove the pit and chop the peaches into small, uniform pieces.
  • Chill the milk (or alternative) for at least 30 minutes and pre-chill the serving glass.
  • Pour the milk (or alternative) into the blender first.
  • Add the chopped fresh peaches.
  • Add the ice cream and sweetener (if using).
  • Blend on low speed, then increase to medium-high until smooth.
  • If too thick, add more milk; if too thin, add more ice cream or frozen peach pieces.
  • Pour into a chilled glass and garnish with mint leaves or peach slices.

Notes

For a tropical twist, use coconut milk as a dairy alternative.
